About Veezy

From Pagedale to the Plate.

Chaz Duncan grew up in Pagedale, St. Louis County. He spent two decades on the most-watched stages in battle rap as Aye Verb. In April 2016, after a battle in New York City, he woke up frozen — body unable to move. That morning he decided food was not going to kill him.

Ten years later, he cooks like that promise mattered. Vegan Veezy is the chef inside the kitchen — a different name for what came next. Same hands. Different plate.

"This is food from a man who had to choose himself. Food for people who still want flavor, soul, comfort, and strength — without letting food become the thing that takes them out."
